Course Details
Place up to 25 implants over 5 days in a university clinical setting, depending on case selection, case complexity, and the clinician’s skill level.
All cases will be under the direct supervision of licensed Brazilian specialists and dentists.
Cases can include:
– Single tooth replacement (anterior and posterior)
– Multiple implants
– Extractions and immediate placement
– Basic bone grafting
– Basic soft tissue management
– Crestal & lateral approach sinus lifts
– Full arch surgeries
– Management of implant complications
After this course:
Clinicians will have developed the skills and confidence to perform basic to semi-complex implant treatments.
Gain knowledge for selecting patients for dental implant treatments.
Clinical Setting:
Dentists will work in pairs (2 dentists : 1 dental chair)
1 Mentor : 4 dentists

Please note:
– The number of implants placed during the 5 days of live surgery depends on the cases selcted, the clinical skill set of the clinician and complexity of each case.
– It is recommended that clinicians complete a North American–accredited implant program covering both theory and hands-on training.
– Canadian dentists must provide digital copies of their Dental school diploma and Canadian Dental License. Passports/travel documents must be valid for more than 6 months prior to departure from Canada for the course.
– Canadian passport holders must obtain travel E-visas to Brazil at their own expense (click here for Brazilian E-Visas)

Registration, Cancellation and CE Credits Policies
Cancellation Policy:
Registration is limited to ensure an optimal learning experience, particularly during the hands-on and clinical portions, and is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total tuition is required upon registration, and the remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the course start date. Registration will be confirmed in writing by Hiossen upon receipt of the registration form and payment.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the course start date are eligible for a refund of any tuition paid beyond the deposit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the course start date or after the course has commenced.
Hiossen reserves the right to cancel the course up to 30 days prior to the course date. In such cases, all tuition paid will be fully refunded. However, Hiossen is not responsible for any non-refundable travel or accommodation expenses.
Continuing education credits may not apply toward license renewal in all states, provinces, or countries. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify applicable requirements. Refund policies may vary depending on the course or study club agreement.
