These three series is for participants who wish to begin planning and restoring implants in their office. The prosthetic series are designed with those in mind who have little to no experience in implant dentistry.

Session 2:

  • Rationale Behind Using Long-term Implant Provisional Prostheses
  • Effect of Properly Formed Temporaries on Developing Emergence Profile
  • Various Types of Provisionals, Different Temporization Techniques
  • Immediate Implant Placement and Provisionalization Criteria:
    • Immediate Placement and Provisionalization Criteria Techniques
    • Multiple Single Restorations: Splinting Vs. Individual Units
    • Occlusion of Implant-Supported Temporary Restorations

Session 3:

  • Fundamental Difference Between Tooth & Implant Impressions
  • Possible Modifications of the Adjacent Teeth Required Prior to Impression
  • Open-tray, Closed-tray, Splinted Open-Tray Procedures
  • Effect of Properly Formed Temporaries on Developing Emergence Profile
  • Various Types of Provisionals, Different Temporization Techniques
  • Common Errors in Taking Implant Impressions
