This 15-day course teaches the General Dentist the necessary skills to place implants for patients in their practice in a controlled and predictable environment. Implant Dentistry is a prosthetically driven discipline with a surgical component and this rational is enforced throughout this course. This philosophy, “to begin with the end in mind”, gives the Dentist the necessary armamentarium to be successful in implantology.

– Stock abutments vs. custom abutments
– Splinted vs. non splinted crowns
– Selection of crown materials
– Screw retained vs. cement retained crowns
– Introduction to multi-angle abutments - Implant Occlusion

- Overdentures using locator abutments (hands-on)
